Welcome Stephen and Claire Sanders!
FCC Lewisville is so excited to welcome Rev. Dr. Stephen Sanders as our new Senior Minister! Rev. Sanders and his wife Claire will be joining us in the September timeframe, but they were in town this past weekend (June 20-21) to meet the congregation and attend a "Welcome to Texas" cookout in their honor. The Sanders will be moving to the lone star state from Louisiana, so we definitely wanted to give them a taste of Texas hospitality! More than 65 members turned out for the event during which we had a chance to learn a little bit more about Stephen and Claire and the ministry they will bring to our church.
We know we are very blessed to welcome the Sanders to our church family, and we are so excited about the future of First Christian Lewisville!

While Rev. Sanders and Claire have three children ranging in ages from 18-26, the only family member who will be making a home with them in Lewisville is of the four footed variety, a ferocious yet adorable little beast named "Spike." We hear he's quite excited about becoming a Texas dog!
