The Chrismon Tree
First created by Mrs. Frances Spencer in 1957, Chrismons are typically constructed in white and gold. The white refers to our Lord's purity and perfection and the gold refers to his majesty and glory. Chrismons proclaim the name, life and saving acts of Jesus the Christ.
FCC Lewisville is so very blessed this year to have a beautiful new set of more than 200 Chrismon decorations, each of which was handcrafted by a very special artist from the FCC family. CWF members Sharon, Mary, and Connie (with a little help from John too) spent countless hours over the past year creating this sacred and inpspiring gift for our church, a gift we will treausure for years to come!
